Inspire. Empower. Lead. Gina Winters and Adam Greenbaum are the current President and Vice-President of the Cherry Hill Board of Education. We have been serving on the Board together since 2023, and are thrilled to be running for re-election to continue the progress we've made. We are committed to safe and healthy schools for our students, where they can grow and learn. Our goals include continued focus on academic achievement for all students, sound fiscal management, including continued oversight of the bond referendum projects, and promoting an inclusive school culture where every student is welcomed and belongs.
Gina Winters
Gina Winters Gina Winters was appointed in August 2022 to fill a vacant Board seat and won her current seat in the November 2022 election. She was unanimously chosen by the Board to serve as Board President beginning in January 2025. Since 2023, she has served as chair of the Curriculum and Instruction committee, focused on improving academic achievement for all learners. Under her leadership, the committee collaborated with district administration on preschool expansion, high impact tutoring, high school math pathways, AP expansion, and the implementation of new curricula for math and ELA at the elementary level. Gina earned her Master's degree in Public Policy from Rutgers University, where her primary focus was education policy. Upon graduating, she served as nonpartisan staff for the New Jersey State Legislature. As a Cherry Hill resident of over 20 years and a parent of three children in the district, Gina is personally invested in making our schools the best they can be for all students. She enjoys volunteering as a Girl Scout leader for the most wonderful troop of teenagers, reading as many books as she possibly can, and singing her heart out at church every Sunday.
Adam Greenbaum Adam Greenbaum is passionate about education, and comes from a family of teachers. Adam is the current Vice President of the Cherry Hill Board of Education, and serves as the chair of the Business and Facilities committee. This includes collaboration with the administration to develop budgets that prioritize academic success and the wellbeing of our students and staff, as well as providing oversight for the many bond referendum construction projects across the district. He believes in fiscal responsibility, data-driven decision making, leading with empathy, and ensuring a quality education for all. Adam lives in Cherry Hill with his wife and son. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. Adam has worked as a cyber security expert in the aerospace and defense industries for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, mountain biking, and is an avid photographer.

Accomplishments Under our leadership, the district has moved forward with the implementation of:
  • The largest bond referendum in State history - $363 million - to ensure safe and healthy schools
  • Preschool expansion, bringing an additional $13.6M in State aid to Cherry Hill over the past 3 years to provide full day, high quality preschool education to our youngest learners
  • Access to basic skills instructors for students at all 12 elementary schools
  • High impact tutoring programs to boost learning for students who need additional support
  • Our district cell phone policy - one of the first in the State - to promote focused, engaged learning environments
  • New and innovative curricula for our students, including Amplify CKLA at the elementary level - based on the science of reading
  • The community driven Strategic Plan for 2025-2030, which includes measurable goals on academic achievement, operational excellence, student supports, climate and family engagement, and staff recruitment and retention
  • A district communications plan to increase transparency and promote engagement
  • New Board special committees to focus on special education, preschool, communications and community engagement and elementary redistricting
  • A new Board governance committee to improve board functioning
  • Advocacy for additional State funding, resulting in Cherry HIll receiving $3.1M in additional State aid in 2024. Supported using the additional funding to boost teacher salaries to increase recruitment and retention of excellent teachers for our district
